Hypno Gear: First Person View by vinyldarkscratch Hypno Gear: First Person View by vinyldarkscratch
silver-tongues-blog on Tumblr had asked a blog that I help manage, "What does it look like while they're wearing the hypno gear?  Can we see a PoV shot of the person wearing it?"  “I had to dilute the hypnotic glow as to reduce it’s effects to a minimum in this captured shot.  But, this is typically what it looks like in the HG when looking at Hypno himself!" These are really fun to animate.  I would love to animate more of these in the future, ask us about a commission and we definitely will get right on it!

Art by askhypnoswirl.tumblr.com (Warning: 18+ Content), animation by yours truly.

Can you draw, though? And can you also do 2D animation or just 3D?

Unfortunately, I can't draw to save my life... XD I usually work with other artists whenever I need drawings for my own projects, or commissions, and Dr. Dooggle happens to be the main one I work with (the one who drew this). As for 2D and 3D, uh...this is a 2D animation you're looking at. X3 (Yes, I can do both, I'm much better at 2D, though!)

Yeah, I know it's technically a 2D animation, but this is more like squashing/stretching. I meant like an actual cartoon.

I see what you mean -- yeah, my specialty is definitely in puppet animations like what you see, but if given enough resources, doing more of the traditional cartoon work is a possibility.  Actually, it's a lot harder to do things with the puppet tool, even though it looks nicer (in my opinion), most of the cartoon animation work is on the artist themselves!
